Tears as Singer Eddy Kenzo Is Banned From Performing Anywhere In Uganda

Musician Edirisa Musuza better known as Eddy Kenzo is in yet a basin of tears after a court order banning him from performing or organizing a music show anywhere in the country until a pending case filed by an events manager has been disposed and determined by a judge.
The case is related to Eddy Kenzo's music festival held at Kololo Independence grounds in the capital of the East African country Uganda. The concert attracted tens of thousands of secular music lovers with the likes of H.E Bobi Wine, Prime Minister Robina Nabbanja and other dignitaries gracing the show.

Luba Events, a music promoter and organizer dragged Eddy Kenzo to court accusing him of breaching a contract they had signed with him. He claims he suffered losses to a tune of Shs800M in preparations for a concert that never took place in 2020 due to restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

It is allegedly alleged that Luba Events would then agree with Eddy Kenzo to organize a concert after the pandemic to recover the lost money lost in preparations for the concert that never took place. Eddy Kenzo would then be paid Shs140M from the same event.

Luba Events would later be shocked when Eddy Kenzo decided to pick another events promoter to organize his concert throwing Luba Events in shock. Luba Events would then later sue the Grammy nominee to court for breaching their contract .

It is on this that Justice Juliet Nakitende of the High Court in Kampala would then issue an interim order banning the Big talent boss from performing anywhere in Uganda pending the determination of matters in the main suit.
