Controversial City lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde was Friday harrased in courts of law and later chased from courts for unknown reasons by a one police officer attached to the counter terrorism unit of the Uganda police force (UPF) ASP Kamuza Marvin Kanyesigye as he went to present his petition at the courts of law.
The self styled lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde later while being dragged, asked the officer to arrest him as he puts his hands up and reassured the officer that he would not resist the arrest to which the officer declined and just pushed him out of Court of law using excessive unreasonable force to pull the lawyer out of court. "I put my hands up urging ASP KAMUZA to arrest me, because if he so wished I would not resist it, and also purposely to de-escalate the bomboclaat, because he was clearly using unreasonable force & threats to hinder my work as a human rights defender." The lawyer accused the officer of giving illegal orders at the courts of law and using his power to harrass court users at will. He also accused the officer of flirting with impunity while victimizing court users. "ASP KAMUZA is a newcomer. Fresh from cadet school, he was made in-charge CounterTerrorism Police at Buganda Road Court. He loves his walkie-talkie and the sound of his voice, giving illegal orders to show importance. He flirts with impunity, victimizing court users at will." Lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde.
ASP Kamuza Marvin Kanyesigye is said to have recently completed his cadet course, fresh from cader school and made in charge counter terrorism police at the Buganda Road Court.
