Sheeba: Andrew Mwenda Reportedly Fingered Sheeba

Female musician Sheeba Karungi has been reportedly fingered by political analyst who is also a journalist Mr Andrew Mwenda and forced to perform on gun point after reportedly being abused by Andrew Mwenda's body guard.

The singer took to her Twitter account and posted a video condemning the said acts of impunity on her by an old man she so respected but yet had to do such a thing to her. She is quoted saying "it's a shame for a person who appears on tv and pretend to be a gentleman to be doing such a thing to people who look up to him".

Many Ugandans took to online social media platforms to condemn the acts of abuse imputed upon Sheeba. Controversial laywer Isaac Ssemakadde condemned such acts against women.

While other Ugandans condemned Sheeba's dressing code as not befitting of a person many young girls in the society look up to. Uganda has in the recent past, recorded rampant cases of abuse against women.
